I'm Bhanu. I work at UBS on a cloud-resource analytics platform — .NET on the back, React on the front. Outside of work I read, build small things, and watch too much anime.

Open to collaborate

Working on something interesting? Let's build it together.

Day-job is full-time at UBS — but evenings and weekends are open for OSS, side-projects, and the occasional 2 AM debug call.

OSS contributions
Looking to contribute to .NET, React, and developer-tools repos. PRs > issues.
Side projects
Especially anything in AI, dev tools, or cloud cost optimization.
Pair on something
If you're stuck on a tricky perf problem in .NET or a gnarly React state bug — I'll show up.
About

Hi, I'm Bhanu.

I'm a software engineer based in Pune. By day I build cloud platforms at UBS — APIs in .NET, dashboards in React, the wiring in between. By night I'm usually deep in something AI-related, or watching anime, or losing badly at badminton.

I think good software is mostly about taste and patience — caring enough to chase the 30% perf win, then caring enough to make the loading state feel right. I like the boring parts (CI, types, error handling) as much as the fun ones.

Before UBS I studied CS at Shiv Nadar University. Before that I was the kid who stayed up rewriting his portfolio site instead of sleeping. Some things don't change.

What I'm into right now.

May 2026
Building
An AI tool to summarize Azure cost anomalies.
Weekend hack. Claude + Functions + a dashboard.
Watching
Jujutsu Kaisen S2 (rewatch). Death Note is forever top-3.
Naruto chapter binges happen often.
Playing
Badminton — 3 evenings a week.
Smash needs work. Net play is fine.
Reading
Designing Data-Intensive Applications.
Slow read. Worth it.
Stack & setup

The boring details.

Tools matter less than habits. But here are the ones I keep coming back to.

Editor
VS Code, Rider for .NET deep work
Terminal
iTerm2 + zsh + Starship
Cloud
Azure mostly, AWS occasionally
Notes
Obsidian + a stack of paper notebooks
Music while coding
Lofi, Hans Zimmer, anime OSTs
Coffee
Black filter. No fuss.
